The Right Therapist Fit Matters
Meet The Team - We’re real people who care deeply—and we’re here to help you sort through the hard stuff with zero judgment.
Emma Mansour, PhD
Clinic Director/Owner
I help people make sense of what’s getting in the way.
Whether it’s feeling stuck in your thoughts, overwhelmed by emotions, or unsure what’s driving your struggles with focus, motivation, or learning—it’s easy to start thinking something is wrong with you. But you’re not broken. You’re human.
I use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help people build lives that feel meaningful and aligned, even in the face of hard things. We work together to understand what matters most to you, and then take small, steady steps in that direction—without letting self-doubt, fear, or perfectionism lead the way.
I also offer psychological testing when answers feel out of reach. If you're wondering whether ADHD, a learning difference, or something else is making life harder than it needs to be, I provide clear, compassionate assessments for adults, teens, and other clinicians looking for clarity. I believe good testing should feel like a turning point—not just a label, but a launchpad.
Hailey Van Zwedan, LCSW
You’re not broken—you’re carrying a story that deserves to be heard.
If life feels heavy, your inner world chaotic, or you can’t seem to find your way back to yourself, you’re not alone—and you don’t have to keep holding it all by yourself.
I work with teens and adults who are ready to slow down, look inward, and make sense of the emotional patterns that keep showing up. Whether you’ve been through something painful, feel disconnected from who you used to be, or are just tired of being at war with yourself, therapy can help you come home to who you are.
My work is rooted in Internal Family Systems (IFS), a powerful and compassionate approach that helps you explore the different parts of yourself—from the inner critic to the part that shuts down—and understand why they’re doing what they do. Together, we’ll gently unburden these parts so you can experience more clarity, calm, and self-trust.
Depending on what you need, I also weave in tools from CBT, ACT, DBT, and somatic practices. Healing is not one-size-fits-all—and neither is our work together.
Natasha Plyer, MSW, CSW (Spanish Speaking)
You don’t have to relive the pain to find relief from it.
I use Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), a powerful and compassionate approach that helps the brain process and release painful memories—without going into all the details. Using calming eye movements and guided imagery, ART helps you feel better, faster. Many clients report significant relief in just a few sessions.
I work with kids, teens, and adults facing challenges like trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, and low self-esteem. Whether you’re feeling stuck in the past or overwhelmed in the present, our work together can help you find clarity, calm, and confidence again.
For younger clients, I create a developmentally attuned space that feels safe, engaging, and empowering. I also offer sessions in Spanish to ensure more families can access support that feels truly welcoming.
And when I’m not in the therapy room, you’ll probably find me in the kitchen. I run a small local bakery—and believe that healing can happen in all kinds of ways: through warmth, creativity, connection, and a little bit of sweetness.
Celeste Torman, MSW, CSW
Healing isn’t about “fixing” yourself—it’s about coming home to who you really are.
I believe therapy should feel like a safe landing place. A space where you can be fully seen—without judgment—and begin to explore what’s been weighing on you, what you’re longing for, and what’s possible.
I work with adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, low self-worth, life transitions and relationship stress. I specialize in grief and loss, offering a space to make sense of pain, honor what’s been lost, and gently reconnect with hope. My work with grief is deeply personal as well as professional—I hold these stories with tenderness and care.
My approach is integrative and collaborative. That means we’ll work together to find what works best for you, drawing from evidence-based tools and creative expression. As both a therapist and an artist, I often invite art into the room—not as a requirement, but as a gentle option for those who want to explore healing in new ways.
This work is about more than symptom relief. It’s about building a life that feels honest, empowered, and aligned with who you truly are.
Emily Szalay, ACMHC
You’re not too much. You’re just human—and you deserve support that sees the whole of you.
I work with clients navigating the complexities of ADHD, identity, relationships, and self-worth—especially those who’ve been told (or have come to believe) that the way they think, feel, or love is somehow wrong. It’s not.
Living with ADHD can mean constantly bumping up against systems that weren’t designed for how your brain works. I help you untangle the internalized “shoulds” and build practical, compassionate strategies for focus, motivation, and follow-through—without shame.
I also provide LGBTQ+ affirming therapy that honors the full spectrum of identity and experience. Whether you’re exploring who you are, working through relationship challenges, or healing from the stress of being misunderstood or unseen, this is a space where your truth is welcome.
Together, we’ll make space for the parts of you that have been quieted, help you build skills that support your growth, and create a life that feels more like you—aligned, whole, and deeply valid.
Lara Johnson, Certified Life Coach
I believe every woman deserves the chance to reconnect with who she is—not just as a mother, but as a whole person with dreams, gifts, and purpose beyond the day-to-day demands of parenting.
Since launching my business in 2018, I’ve supported hundreds of women across the globe in navigating identity shifts, reclaiming their passions, and building lives that feel both meaningful and aligned. My work is rooted in the belief that motherhood can be a powerful part of your story—but it doesn’t have to be the whole story.
Clients I’ve worked with have returned to school, started businesses and nonprofits, written books, launched new careers, etc. Some have even redefined success altogether—finding joy in being fully present, managing their homes with more ease, and showing up as the version of themselves they’ve always wanted to be.
My approach is supportive, energizing, and grounded in a proven method that helps you create real, lasting change. We’ll work together to help you live more intentionally, reconnect with your sense of self, and move forward with clarity and confidence.
Ela Jones, ACMHC
Therapy doesn’t have to be intimidating—it can be a space to exhale, reflect, and reconnect.
I believe therapy should feel collaborative, grounded, and human. A space where you can make sense of your emotional patterns, reconnect with yourself, and build the tools you need to feel more steady and self-assured.
I work with individuals navigating life transitions, midlife anxiety, depression, and emotional overwhelm. If you’re feeling stuck in reactive cycles, constantly on edge, or like the weight of daily life is just too much, we’ll work together to understand what’s beneath the surface—and chart a path forward that feels clear and empowering.
My approach is supportive and flexible, drawing from evidence-based practices and tailored to your unique needs. I often incorporate mind-body tools, creative exploration, and values-based strategies to help you strengthen resilience and feel more connected to what matters most.
Depending on your goals, I may draw from CBT, mindfulness, narrative therapy, and experiential approaches—but always with the focus on what works best for you.
David Flanders, MSW, CSW
You don’t have to have it all figured out to start feeling better.
Therapy isn’t just about fixing problems—it’s about getting curious about what’s underneath, discovering your strengths, and learning new ways to care for yourself when life feels hard.
The way we think, feel, and react is shaped by the experiences we’ve had. When we start to understand those patterns, we can make meaningful shifts—ones that actually last. That’s the work we’ll do together: slowing down, making sense of what’s going on inside, and finding tools that help you feel more grounded, more confident, and more like you.
Whether you’re working on managing emotions, building better relationships, or showing up for yourself in new ways, I’ll meet you with warmth, support, and practical strategies that fit your life.
Because real growth doesn’t happen through pressure or perfection—it happens when you feel safe, seen, and supported.
Carly Thornton, MSW, CSW
You deserve care that sees the whole of you—not just your symptoms.
Living with chronic pain or complex medical conditions can be exhausting—not just physically, but emotionally. It can change your relationships, your sense of identity, and how you move through the world. If you’ve felt dismissed, misunderstood, or overwhelmed by it all, you’re not alone—and you don’t have to navigate this on your own.
I work with adults facing the layered toll of persistent pain, illness, and major life transitions. In therapy, we’ll create a space that honors your full experience—the grief, the anger, the resilience—and explore ways to ease distress, reconnect with yourself, and find meaning in the midst of it all.
My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and practical. We might use tools like pacing, mindfulness, emotional regulation strategies, and values-based goal setting—always tailored to what works for you. The goal isn’t to “fix” you—it’s to help you feel more empowered, supported, and connected to the life you want to live.
Cora Reedy, ACMHC
I help people uncover the deeper roots of anxiety so they can make the changes necessary to show up more fully in their lives.
Anxiety doesn’t just live in your mind—it affects how you communicate in relationships, how confident you feel at work, how patient you are as a parent, and how clear you feel when setting goals or making decisions. It can leave you feeling scattered, stuck, and exhausted from trying to keep everything under control. For women in particular, the misdiagnosis and overlap between ADHD and anxiety can leave you feeling unseen, misunderstood, and more overwhelmed by your struggles.
I specialize in guiding individuals who are tired of quick fixes and ready for real, lasting change. Together, we’ll explore the emotional, psychological, and even physical layers of your experience—whether rooted in past trauma, nervous system dysregulation, perfectionism, unresolved grief, ADHD, or patterns of thought and behavior that no longer serve you. Therapy with me is collaborative, intuitive, and personalized. I’ll meet you with compassion, curiosity, and the tools to help you reconnect with your sense of calm, clarity, and inner strength.
Julie Stephenson, MSW,CSW
You want a life that feels rich with meaning, joy, and connection.
But somewhere along the way, that spark dimmed. You may feel untethered—disconnected from who you are, uncertain of what matters most, and simply going through the motions. The things you used to love? They don’t quite fit anymore. And if you're navigating identity, LGBTQ+ related challenges, or simply seeking a therapist who truly sees you—you’re not alone.
Whether this is your first time in therapy or you’re returning with new questions and deeper wounds, you are welcome here.
My approach is holistic and person-centered, which means you’re an active partner in this process. We’ll work together to shape a space that feels safe, collaborative, and real. No judgment. No pressure. Just room to breathe, explore, and reconnect—with yourself and the life you want to live.
Starting therapy can feel like a leap—but it’s also a powerful beginning.
When you’re ready, I’m here to walk that first step with you.
